The Pakistan Heart Journal has been a humble effort by the Pakistan Cardiac Society to establish a forum wherein scientific works of Pakistani researchers could be published, mostly for the benefit of local readership. Due to several reasons, the Journal had been irregular in the past and economic constraints had forced an unatt ractive presentation.
We have, by God’s grace, become regular since the past few years. Also, as the economic position of the Journal has improved, it is now possible to give the Journal a face lift. Starting with this issue the Journal will go on offset printing. Also, the format of the papers has been changed to make them more readable.

I hope the readers shall b2tter enjoy the Journal and hopefully come forth with greater support and contributions.

When an article is accepted for publication in the print format, the author will be required to transfer exclusive copyright to the PHJ and retain the rights to use and share their published article with others. However, re-submission of the full article or any part for publication by a third party would require prior permission of the PHJ.
