Stability zs indeed an asset. However, u’hen stability means. becoming a statue, an engrav ing on a piece of rock, a glacier, or some such immutable state, then, there is no more life.Every two years an opportunity comes to thaw the Scxiety out of its deep freeze. Every time the opportunity goes by and not much changes. The outgoing President of the Society pointed this immutable state of affairs and we all agreed. But did we do something about it? Well, we have some new Council members. A little tussle, a little activity, enlivened the Society’s elections this time. No one in prticular or any individual or group was challenged.So let us not be suspicious of changes. Let us give them a chance. Let us give life a chance. It will be good for all of us. A thaw occurred this time. Next time perhaps a meltdown?Downloads
